Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, the first Governor in the history of Guanajuato, presented her First Government Report, in which she highlighted the achievements obtained during her administration. During the event, she emphasized that a total investment of more than 27 billion pesos has been made, which has been allocated to more than 375,000 projects and actions in the state.
In her speech, the Governor mentioned that social infrastructure projects will be carried out in several municipalities of the Northeast region, with a total investment of 722 million pesos planned for this year. She highlighted the importance of education as a key to the future of the residents of Guanajuato.
Furthermore, she emphasized that her administration has focused on directly addressing the citizens in all regions of the state, prioritizing the well-being of Guanajuato families. She also stressed the importance of equal opportunities and support for women, promoting various programs for the benefit of this sector of the population.
One of the emblematic programs is ALIADAS, which offers support to women to boost their economy, access education, receive free medical attention, among other benefits. The Governor also highlighted the implementation of the Pink Card, which enhances the economic capacity of women and is accompanied by assistance and training programs.
In terms of security, significant actions have been taken such as the renewal of security areas, the presentation of the CONFIA strategy to combat organized crime, and the execution of basic infrastructure works in various communities. Millions of pesos have been invested in the Northeast region to improve the quality of life for its residents.
In education, programs have been implemented to encourage student retention, aiming to recover those who left school. Aid has been provided to thousands of students, and investments have been made in educational infrastructure at different levels of education. In public safety, criminal gangs have been dismantled and police corporations have been strengthened with equipment and training.
The Governor celebrated the collaboration with municipalities and thanked citizens for their support, emphasizing her commitment to continue working for the well-being and peace of Guanajuato families.
